The Kinesiology is the science that studies human being movements, its functionalities and performance. The misuse of your body during day to day activity associated with repetitive static positions (i.e. setting or standing), poor posture, intensive physical activity, stress, heavy work, being overweight, or poor physical fitness can cause pain and problems associated with the joints, above all to the spine. Through the application of the principles of kinesiology, bio-mechanics and physiology it's possible to treat muscolar imbalances, joint problems and to correct poor posture. Essential for sports practice too!
To function correctly the structure of your body must mantain two fundamental caracteristics: strenght and flexibility. The loss or impairment of just one of these can initially cause pain and stifness and as time passes, result in changes to your body's postural system and joints which can result in bad posture, inflammation, cartilage degenaration, herniated discs and arthrosis. Pain is a 'message' your body gives you and alert you to a problem. You must listen and try not to suppress or ignore the pain.
